Carlos García Delgado, partner from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), invited students of the Degree in Environmental Sciences to visit the LIFE MySOIL mesocosms set-up. The activity took place on February 28th, 2024.
In particular, the visit was organised within the framework of the subject “Environmental remediation technologies.” During the session, Carlos García Delgado gave an in-situ class on biopiles.
Within the project, the UAM is responsible for the biotreatability evaluation and fungal inocula production for the Spanish demonstration site, running a small mycoremediation pilot.
