The LIFE MySOIL project has been recently disseminated by partners of the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) during a visit to the Mushroom Technological Research Center of La Rioja (CTICH), as well as other industries from La Rioja’s fungi sector.
During the visit, researchers picked up samples for the MySOIL project biotratability tests, aimed at optimizing the mycoremediation system on the Spanish demonstration site.
Researchers also brought samples of mushrooms (P. ostreatus) to the fair „Madrid es ciencia„, which took place in the Spanish capital from 2-5 March, to show the potential that mushrooms and their post-cultivation substrates can have in soil decontamination.
