Partners from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, KEPLER, INGENIERÍA Y ECOGESTIÓN, S.L. and from Isodetect have attended the AquaConSoil conference to disseminate LIFE MySOIL project latest results. The event was celebrated on September 11th-15th, 2023, in Prague (Czech Republic).
Rafael Antón-Herrero and Enrique Eymar, from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, presented the poster “Preliminary designs of utility models to carry out mycoremediation studies of soils contaminated by total petroleum hydrocarbons”.
This poster gives an overview of the LIFE MySOIL project and presents the set-up and results of different mycoremediation experiments carried out in UAM’s facilities, also detailing the type of soil treated and the spent mushroom substrate used.
The poster was also contributed by other partners from the UAM, Kepler and Eurecat. You can download it here:
For its part, Kevin Kuntze, representing Isodetect, attended the company booth in the event and displayed the project’s rollup.
Moreover, Cynthia Alcántara, from KEPLER, delivered a presentation where she talked about the potential of molecular tools. Within her talk, she shared the objectives of the LIFE MySOIL project and pointed out the different partners making up the consortium.
