[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Carme Bosch<\/strong>, project partner from Eurecat, participated in AquaConSoil 2025<\/a>, a conference dedicated to exploring innovative solutions for soil, sediment, and water resources, taking place in Li\u00e8ge (Belgium) from June 16-20.<\/p>\n

On June 19, she introduced one of the more important LIFE MySOIL outputs: a set of guidelines for the implementation of mycoremediation<\/strong>. These guidelines aim to provide a practical and evidence-based framework for the operation of this technology, with a particular emphasis on the treatment of soils contaminated by organic pollutants.<\/p>\n

\n Download<\/a>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]But that was not the only LIFE MySOIL dissemination at the event: Kevin Kuntze<\/strong>, CEO from Isodetect, showcased the poster \u201cMYCOTRAP \u2013 An innovative tool to evaluate natural biodegradation and biostimulation of organic pollutants in soil based on stable isotope probing (SIP)<\/em><\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

This work introduces a new monitoring tool for assessing mycoremediation, called MYCOTRAP<\/a>, which is based on in situ microcosms with 13<\/sup>C- or 2<\/sup>H-labelled target pollutants in order to track the 13<\/sup>C- or 2<\/sup>H-labeling in the components (biomarkers) of the trapped microorganism (fungi = myco).<\/p>\n
