[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Jofre Herrero<\/strong>, LIFE MySOIL coordinator and researcher from Eurecat<\/a>, has been present at the 7th<\/sup> International Symposium on Biosorption and Biodegradation\/Bioremediation (BioBio)<\/strong><\/a>, organised by the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague (V\u0160CHT)<\/a> from June 16th<\/sup>-20th<\/sup>, 2024, in Prague (Czech Republic).<\/p>\n

During the symposium, he held two talks containing research boosted by the LIFE MySOIL project. The first one, held on June 17th<\/sup>, introduced the project\u2019s mycoremediation guidelines for boosting the implementation of this technology at a full scale<\/strong>. This talk was included in a session containing other short lectures, chaired by associated professors Hana Stiborov\u00e1 and Simona Lencov\u00e1.<\/p>\n

\n Download<\/a>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”7101″ img_size=”large” css=””][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text css=””]On June 19th<\/sup>, Jofre Herrero delivered the presentation \u201cEvaluating the feasibility of the clean-up of hydrocarbon-contaminated soils by mycoaugmentation: the LIFE MySOIL project<\/em><\/strong>\u201d, focused on the outcomes of the project up to date, with a focus on the Italian demonstration site<\/a>, led by Eni Rewind<\/a> and the University of Tuscia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The talk was part of the session \u201cMicrobial diversity and biodegradation of pollutants<\/em>\u201d, held by professors Sara Borin and Rafael Rivilla, containing presentations from related Horizon Europe projects.<\/p>\n

Every couple of years, this meeting highlights the newest scientific advancements and cutting-edge methodological approaches in bioremediation, biodegradation, and biodeterioration research.<\/p>\n
