{"id":3606,"date":"2022-06-17T14:56:46","date_gmt":"2022-06-17T14:56:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lifemysoil.eu\/presentation-of-life-mysoil-in-the-8th-european-bioremediation-conference\/"},"modified":"2023-01-12T09:16:40","modified_gmt":"2023-01-12T09:16:40","slug":"presentation-of-life-mysoil-in-the-8th-european-bioremediation-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lifemysoil.eu\/es\/presentation-of-life-mysoil-in-the-8th-european-bioremediation-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Presentation of LIFE MySOIL in the 8th European Bioremediation Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The LIFE MySOIL project has been presented in <strong>the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebc-viii.tuc.gr\/en\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">8<sup>th<\/sup> European Bioremediation Conference<\/a><\/strong>, which has taken place form June 12-17 in Chania, Greece.<\/p>\n<p>Jofre Herrero, Technical Coordinator of LIFE MySOIL and researcher of the Water, Air and Soil Unit at <a href=\"https:\/\/eurecat.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eurecat<\/a> technology center, has explained the project to the attendees, and has detailed how it will demonstrate mycoremediation as a key for the recovery of contaminated soils.<\/p>\n<p>The presentation was given within the session <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebc-viii.tuc.gr\/fileadmin\/users_data\/ebc-viii\/_uploads\/EBC_VIII_DETAILED_PROGRAM_v5.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2B-I \u201c<em>Mycoremediation and composting<\/em>\u201d<\/a>, also pointed out the project\u2019s objetives, the <a href=\"https:\/\/lifemysoil.eu\/demonstration-sites\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">demonstration sites<\/a> and the first results of the biotreatability tests and of the sites characterisation, as well as future challenges and next steps.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lifemysoil.eu\/es\/download\/a-step-further-bioremediation-mycoremediation-for-soil-recovery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">You can download the presentation delivered here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The European Bioremediation Conference (EBC) was organised bt the Technical University of Crete in collaboration with the University of Bologna has celebrated its 8<sup>th<\/sup> edition this year, although it has over 20 years of life.
